Sherryl Woods' sixth volume in the Sweet Magnolia series, "Sweet Tea at Sunset", is very well done while the emphasis is on the relationship between Travis Mc Donald and Sarah, one oh the younger generation of Sweet Magnolias, we finally get to see what happened to the relationship between Tom McDonald and Jeanette which Woods had left dangling in volume four. We also get to see the resolution of Anne and Ty's relationship, featured in volume five. Moreover, we learn the success of Mary Vaughn and Sonny's reconciliation. All these characters, and more, are like "family" now and Woods does a great job of keeping readers posted on the status of Serenity's residences. Woods also provides a bit of foreshadowing that reveal the direction the next volume's focus. Perhaps Raynelle, one third of the second generation Sweet Magnolias, along with Annie and Sarah. Woods puts one of my pet peeves to rest in this volume with her beautifully written description of Sarah and Travis's first sexual encounter: less is really so much more! I give this book a great recommendation for anyone looking for a low-key pleasant enjoyable read!Product details

I love how each book continues to develop the characters of Serenity. This one introduces a new character who falls in love with an old character. I really enjoy these books and the stories of close friends and families.
Love books by Sherryl Woods. Enjoying The Sweet Magnolias Series, I own all the books in the series, I've enjoyed the books I've read, I'm sure the others will be just as good as the six I've read so far. I recommend this book to everyone
All the Sweet Magnolia books are wonderful! I love that there are young and older women featured. The best part is that these women are ALWAYS there for each other, no matter what.
Another easy and great read. I am anxious to see what the next segment of the Sweet magnolias takes us
I choose 3 stars as I found this to be easy reading. By that I mean only had to go just a couple paragraphs to pick up where I left off.
The Sweet Magnolias were a delight to meet and renew acquaintances in each book. It was nice to learn about the second generation of the group and Sarah's story was especailly touching as she and her ex husband found a way to be friends and co-parent their children without feeling it necessary to return to a broken marriage. Naturally by this number in the series we could almost write the story ourselves, but it was still a delightful read when one just needs down time and desires a day in the sunny south.
The whole town watches and listens in to a romance at the small town radio station on the town square. What fun they have speculating the out come.
